Hollow
You’ve never felt so empty as you do now,
A mere shadow of what you once were.
Consumed by your grief and enveloped by your guilt,
You rattle around in your twisted mind, full of despair.
You merely go through the motions of life,
Feeling nothing but the pain
That refuses to fade.
T’is but a half-life you lead.
Condemned to forever wander,
From one world to the next.
Haunted by your past,
Terrified of your future.
So dark have been your dreams of late,
But darker still your reality.
All the demons and monsters you thought were fake,
Are alive in you today.
Forever will you cling to her,
It’s her memory that destroys you,
If only you hadn’t squeezed so hard,
Maybe she’d be here to share it with you.
As you roam across the desolate plains,
Your life is laid before you,
And you remember why you are this way,
And why you feel so dead inside.
You’ve never felt so empty as you do now,

Paranoia
Heart beating rapidly,
eyes look around suspiciously,
sweat streams down your face,
your body trembles,
unaware of what is coming,
ignorant to the fact that nothing is there,
your imagination drives you to the end of your wits,
the feeling of nervousness makes your teeth chatter,
you feel a strong wind blow,
you collapse onto the ground screaming in fear,
you think you see a mysterious figure approaching,
tears run down your cheeks,
suddenly,
everything becomes shrouded in darkness,
you open your eyes,
laughter fills the air,
you are sitting in school sweating feverishly,
screaming and crying in pure terror,

Anxiety
There is a freight train inside my ribcage
And it pounds at the walls
Shredding my dignity to pieces
This anxiety is scratching the chalk boards
Peeling away at the rooftops
It never leaves me alone
I am left with spider webs on my tongue
One bullet for one mind
A one way ticket to the unknown
Tonight I pray to a God I do not believe in
For some type of relief
To help my soul from melting

Dear self harm,
Dear self harm,
I am writing to thank you for your help over the past few years. You have helped me through a lot of my problems throughout my life. But I'm not sure if I can go on seeing you.
We met that one night a few years back in my bedroom. It was surprising how we just clicked like that. We're perfect for eachother. Whenever I was angry, you could always calm me down. Whenever I was upset, you'd replace my tears. Whenever I needed you, you were always there. You are my best friend. You are my hero. You are my saviour.
But then our relationship started going badly. I began to start using you. I insisted on you being there even whe

I just found your poem while looking around my favs and read it again
And again, I love it. In the descriptions you asked for honest comments, and , well, this poem awakens memories if you can relate to it. It just started an emotional hurricane in me.
