Hollow

You’ve never felt so empty as you do now,
A mere shadow of what you once were.
Consumed by your grief and enveloped by your guilt,
You rattle around in your twisted mind, full of despair.

You merely go through the motions of life,
Feeling nothing but the pain
That refuses to fade.
T’is but a half-life you lead.

Condemned to forever wander,
From one world to the next.
Haunted by your past,
Terrified of your future.

So dark have been your dreams of late,
But darker still your reality.
All the demons and monsters you thought were fake,
Are alive in you today.

Forever will you cling to her,
It’s her memory that destroys you,
If only you hadn’t squeezed so hard,
Maybe she’d be here to share it with you.

As you roam across the desolate plains,
Your life is laid before you,
And you remember why you are this way,
And why you feel so dead inside.
This was wriiten (like all my work) ridiculously late at night. 1o'clock in the morning to be precise, on a skool night aswell! god i am gonna kick my creative muse up the backside!! and the worse the poem is the harder i'll kick him, so if u want to save my poor little muse from a nasty boot-shaped dent in his behind please like my poem!
But seriously now, i want ur very honset comments cos i'm not sure about the quality of it myself. be brutal yet constructive. thanku :)

I just found your poem while looking around my favs and read it again =p
And again, I love it. In the descriptions you asked for honest comments, and , well, this poem awakens memories if you can relate to it. It just started an emotional hurricane in me.
